Vacheron Constantin’s Quai de L’ile
If Vacheron Constantin’s Quai de L’ile collection isn’t proof of the desire on the part of the world’s oldest continuing watchmaker (the marquee into its 253rd year in 2008) to be progressive, we don't know what is. And we dare say, the marque is well on its way to ensuring another splendid quarter-millennium.

But the real clincher is the advanced technologies that have been incorporated in to the collection’s sapphire crystal dials. Embodying state-of-the-art security printing, galvanic treatments and laser engravings, which accord the watches a futuristic artistry, these techniques also ensure each timepiece remains a one-of-a-kind work without fear of copies.
