Founded in 1857 in Tramelan, a town in Switzerland's Bernese Jura, by Armand Nicolet,the son of a watchmaker,the brand has on to survive the Swiss watchmaking crisis of the 1970s and is now re-establishing itself as one of the finest horologically-serious brands to watch. CEO of the brand is the very able and forward-thinking Ronando Braga.


Already 151 years old, the house of Armand Nicolet is best know for unique craftmanship and meticulous attention to detal. Its quest for perfection remains unchanged and can be detected in almost all aspects of the watchmaking process, right up to the delivery of each Armand Nicolet piece, accompanied by its own technical control certification, lovingly and personal complied by the watchmaker who performed the final controls.
